About the role
The Telecommunication Networking Engineering Intern will support our engineering team in designing, implementing, and maintaining our telecommunications networks. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on real-world projects, develop technical skills, and gain valuable industry insights.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and configuration of telecommunication networks, including LAN, WAN, and wireless systems.
- Support the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Participate in monitoring and optimizing network performance to ensure high reliability and efficiency.
- Help develop and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network-related projects and initiatives.
- Provide technical support to end-users and assist in resolving network-related issues.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends in telecommunications and networking.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs).
- Familiarity with network equipment and tools (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Wireshark).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude towards challenges.
