About the role

As an Software Manual Quality Assurance (QA) Intern, you will be responsible for assisting the QA team in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will have the opportunity to learn and apply industry-standard QA methodologies, techniques, and tools while contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing of software features, functionalities, and integrations.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking systems.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and QA process improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Stay updated on emerging QA trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong interest in software quality assurance and testing.
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with software testing tools and techniques is a plus.
