About the role

The intern will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of cybersecurity, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, incident response, and the implementation of security measures. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment and contribute to real-world security initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and analyzing security events and incidents.
• Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Support the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
• Help maintain and update security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
• Conduct research on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends.
• Assist in the investigation of security breaches and incidents.
• Contribute to the development of security awareness training materials.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the cybersecurity team.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
