About the role

Our client is looking for a graduate mechanical engineer intern to join their team, with excellent motivation & work ethic for a mechanical design & FEA analysis role.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate within the team to develop all project designs with the opportunity to provide big picture concept and design ideas.

• Produce conceptual design drawings, detailed & accurate 3D models and drawings for manufacture.

• Deliver detailed FEA analysis reports, and efficient, cost-effective and sustainable design solutions.

• Liaise with clients to provide excellent customer service and work in partnership with them for design decisions.

Requirements:

• A degree in mechanical engineering, with a high level of understanding of structural analysis and FEA.

• Experience with drafting software with CAD - SolidWorks 3D/FEA simulation experience an advantage.

• High-level written and oral communication skills with the ability to build excellent customer and team relationships.

• Adaptability to new systems, strong attention to detail and proved track record to meet deadlines.

• A thirst for knowledge and development, with a highly dedicated work ethic.
